Paul Douglas R. Hargrave is a GIA Graduate Gemologist and JCRS Certified Insurance Appraiser serving Baytown, Texas. He owns Hargrave Appraisal Services and Robson’s Jewelers, bringing gemological training and practical jewelry experience to insurance, estate, and fair market value assignments.

His qualifications include GIA Graduate Diamonds, Graduate Colored Stones, and Accredited Jewelry Professional credentials; Accredited Gemologist through the Accredited Gemologists Association; and Certified Senior Management Professional and Certified Senior Sales Professional credentials through Jewelers of America.

Paul’s work begins with the purpose of the appraisal. Insurance replacement cost and resale value answer different questions. Jewelry is examined for identification, quality, construction, and condition, with grading limitations and assumptions documented in the report.
